Partner Development Manager
Reports to: President & CEO
Department: Chamber & Tourism Status: Full Time – Exempt
Summary: The Partner Development Manager supports recruitment, retention, and relationship-building efforts for both chamber members and tourism partners. This role is the primary contact for onboarding new partners and ensuring all partners receive value and timely communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for member and tourism partner inquiries.
• Proactively recruit new chamber members through outreach, relationship-building, and participation in community and networking events.
• Lead and manage the Chamber’s Ambassador Program, including recruitment, training, and engagement of volunteers who support partner retention and visibility efforts.
• Lead and manage membership renewals, billing, and aging.
• Coordinate partner onboarding, renewals, and benefit fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
• Assist with sponsorship sales
• Support the Partner Engagement Director and Tourism Director with event logistics, partner communications, and recognition opportunities.
• Monitor partner satisfaction and assist in developing retention strategies.
• Provide recommendations for prospecting between tourism and chamber departments
• Help identify cross-promotional opportunities between chamber members and tourism partners.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office (or similar systems).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Prior chamber, tourism, or nonprofit experience a plus.
