JOB SUMMARY
We are hiring for the position of Lead Patient Care Associate. As a Lead Associate, you will support the General Manager in ensuring that all daily operating procedures are performed as required while promoting a company image of excellence through a strong work ethic, leadership by example, and the consistent delivery of impeccable customer service and store visual representation. You will also maximize sales through the development and supervision of sales staff. A Lead Associate is also responsible for ensuring transactions are carried out in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Cannabis industry experience is preferred, but not required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage and motivate staff (including hiring, training, directing, firing, performance management and recognition duties).
-Create daily work schedule(s) for proper employee utilization.
-Issues written and oral instructions; assigns duties and examines work for correctness and conformance to policy and procedures. Hire and staff the dispensary by recruiting a diverse set of skills among candidates.
-Coach, develop and maximize the success of all associates.
-Ensure onboarding and continued training and education is delivered.
-Ensure team communication, leading weekly managers meetings and monthly team meetings.
-Assist in driving maximum profitability by managing expense budgets, including deposits, accounts receivable and profit and loss.
-Direct workforce management activities including order fulfillment and routine inventory cycle count audits.
-Direct daily inventory activities resolving all discrepancies in accordance with state law.
-Oversee operational execution, ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed.
-Ensures all technology solutions are working and functioning as designed.
-Ensures all required State, and Company sanctioned reports and audits are executed on time.
-Lead a consistent focus on customer loyalty and creating emotionally engaging customer experiences.
-Direct the implementation of customer engagement strategies.
-Coordinate and partner with management to drive the success of promotions and loyalty programs.
-Leads and champions change and innovation in a fast-moving environment.
-Assist General Manager with tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or similar Degree is preferred.
-Previous cannabis management work experience is preferred.
-Minimum two years of related work experience, with supervisory or management experience is required.
-Maintain knowledge of and compliance with Federal and State Cannabis regulations.
-Knowledge of safety practices, including first aid and all applicable safety standards in the cannabis production industry.
-Experience working with an ERP or Inventory Management software required.
-METRC Experience Highly Desired.
-Ability to work independently and with others.
-Strong time management skills.
-Exceptional oral, written, and organization skills.
-Valid driver’s license or ID required.
-Must be 18 years of age.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
-Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
-Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
-Ability to traverse various areas of the facility to conduct inspections and plan security procedures.
